The Andromedae Review, an Arizona based literary magazine, have just published their first issue online. The magazine is a mixture of poetry and prose, and I am delighted to have two stories included; along with works by Levi Neo and Sm Cadman.
Metal Grey Sky is written from the perspective of my 14 year old self. A true recounting of a pretty typical event for a lot of teenage boys in the 1990's. 'The fight managed to bring everyone together. Whether you were a pacifist, a fighter or a thinker; everyone came out.'
Prison Bus Blues is an excerpt from my forthcoming book ‘Summer In The City State’, which will be released in early 2016. Travelling from the European-Spanish enclave of Ceuta, through to the Rif Mountains, we pick up the journey in ‘the blue city of the Rif’; Chefchaouen. Prepare for Hashish, armed guards and a trip through the mountains on a prison bus.
You can read these two stores and the rest of the magazine in full here.
