Migrate to the fringe - writings on people and place...
I love to interact with readers, so please feel free to say hi via the contact form, on my blog or on Twitter!
As you can see from the main page, I have written articles for a multitude of publications such as for Your Middle East.com, Kosovo 2.0, Redhorse Reporters, The Sarajevo Times and more; crossing the spectrums of travel, the arts and societies on the fringe. You can call it nonfiction, slow journalism, social documentary, unfiction, or straight-up life stories. I only hope each of the stories make an impression on the reader.
On my print work, outside of some beautifully laid out articles in Kosovo 2.0 magazine, I have a new book published in 2016. 'Summer In The City State' is a nonfiction novella about travelling from Ceuta to Tangier via the borders of Fortress Europe.
I have a short 13 page booklet, Beirut 'Sabra and Shatila - Decades Without Justice', a brief exploration of Lebanon's Sabra and Shatila massacre in West Beirut 1982. It also features an insight to Shatila and Beirut today from the aspect of Palestinian youth. This is now out of print - but the article is available to read here.
~ Happy reading, Eamonn.
